Well, im going to go sell the wow account i think, dont have time to play other than weekends which is great with the OCuK guys and Gals, but its about time i stopped playing and got some work at the house done lol..

its alife sucker is WOW, but its nice...

Then ill go buy this game and play this for a while :)

Folks, I've maxed out my allowance of trial keys, sorry :p

If anyone else buys the game, go to plaync.com - Account - Game Account - Tabula Rasa and Refer a Friend.

Well I've started playing this tonight to see what its like.. Have done the tutorial part. However I keep getting loads of graphical glitches in it! My graphics card isn't overclocked but it errors all over the place.. :(

Anyone got any ideas on a solution?

No :(

The only problem I've ever seen people discussing in the general chat is when you have antialiasing forced on in the nvidia control panel, it interferes with the settings in the game.

You could have a look over at www.rgtr.com, might be something in the support section there.

Cheers, I'll have a look when I'm back from work.. I've got an ATI card and nothing is forced in the control panel. Did a quick Google and it seems other people have the same problem. Its like I get chequered squares on patches of the ground and some of the scenery textures just show up as black..

Will have a play with the settings and see what I can do!

Worth buying? lost my chance of a key as the downlaod was taking too long and i had to go to work.

Tried to find it in game/pcworld in Leeds, dont stock it lol.. just my luck!

Can anyone give a little brief on how the game plays?
The usual comparasons to GW and WoW are good to help explain stuff :)
Do they have an auction house and any crafting? Two major points for me.
Oh and a monthly fee?

There is an auction house, 's called Military surplus. Monthly fee is the usual tenner or so. Crafting is a bit broken at the moment, in that it's rare to craft something useful at your level. Works by breaking down loot for components and looting recipies, mostly for mods to your armour and weapons. It's due for a major revamp in an upcoming patch.

It plays like most other mmo's out there. The class system is a bit different, in that you specialise at levels 5, 15 and 25. For example 0-recruit, 5- soldier, 15, ranger, 25 spy. You can clone before each specialisation, so you never have to start from scratch again. Once you hit 25 for example, you could clone and choose sniper instead of spy, and have two lvl 25 characters with different classes.

There are a lot of story instances in the game, reminds me a bit of lotr in this regard. The game world is really well done and atmospheric, you really feel like you're in the middle of a warzone in some places.

Have a look at the video over at www.rgtr.com, will give you a feel for it.

Its very much wow and LOTRO meets Halo in mmo. I think its very good and different. Lots of potential and think they are adding things as time goes on. A PVP battleground like wow is been added shortly afaik. IMO world pvp wouldnt work very well in this game but the clan feuding is a good addition; PVP clans can declare war on each other and battle for 7 days. The crafting and AH can easily be added to the game later really doesnt need it right now.

For the first time since wow im playing an mmo that I have that sensation to have to think about it when im away, not good..... :D

What I like about it is the array of weaponry you spend so much time thinking about - a rifle for long range sniping, an emp weapon of some sort for the drones, shotgun and pistol for close up, and then different damage types of all these weapons, for those scary moments when you realise that those enormous Kail are immune to standard damage, or that lasers don't hurt lightbenders.

I think I've got about 12 guns in my inventory :D

Its a ****ing woeful game. Played it some time in December there....its like its 1/2 finished or something. Just get WoW or EVE if you're going to pay for an MMO. At least they're "complete".

I wouldn't beat it with someone else's joystick.

I will probably give it ago. Im enjoying Hellgate which everyone (Well, not everyone since there are a few thousand online all the time) thought was terrible. To me it was a very welcome change from WoW, NWN, EQ2, GW and LotROL.

Im old school, i want the box as i tend to format the pc now and again and lose the data on it and id forget the bloody game...

And i like boxes on my shelf...

ah no it's not a digital download, just an online seller. It's obviously flying off the shelves at retail...

*tries not to look shifty*
