Take a peek at this for me? :)

Would you not try and build it yourself?

If you can put a shelf up... you can put a PC together. It really is ridiculously easy! So many people make it out to be such a big thing (I build PC's... I'm so smart!) Not the case I'm afraid.

I can put a PC together but not put a shelf up, what does that say about me? ;)

It's crossed my mind, but you see, I'm only 15, 16 in a weeks time (hence the shopping :P) so it sounds hard, plus I'm afraid I'll brake it with static. Buying a Premade seems a lot easier for now.

I need a monitor, I know I'll get the microsoft sidewinder x4 keyboard and I'll stick with my mouse for the moment, unless you have any recommendations, around £25?

So you need a complete system and a monitor....give use your budget and we will advise you accordingly.

The wrecking components with static thing is a bit of a myth....the 3 steps you need to take the most care with are:

1) Screwing the motherboard into the case...dont over-tighten or misalign the screws

2) installing the CPU...do it slowly and carefully, follow the markings on the CPU and motherboard socket as they only fit together one way

3) mounting the CPU cooler...the backplates can sometimes be fiddly and you have to follow the correct procedure for applyting the thermal paste

The rest is a piece of cake, i.e fitting hard drives, pci cards and power cables to the correct places

I agree with this completely. Not much else can go wrong. As said... you can't really make a mistake with anything else.

Once it's put together, It's just a matter of sticking in the windows disc and booting to it. Then your off... happy days!

So... budget? Surely it's not £25

Budget for the PC itself is £600, inc. OS
Monitor - about £150
The rest I can get myself, unlike as I said for the mouse, any recommendations would be good :) I don't expect anyone to go look for a whole PC at midnight though :p

I always think its a bit like expensive lego. Picking the right components is usually the hardest part though.
Anybody on the forums here will gladly give you a hand with picking your parts, the guides on here for assembling are brilliant as well.

I don't expect someone to gather a list of these at midnight though :p

What else is everyone doing on a computer forum? We're all sad with nothing better to do :p

Plus... the tellys *****

well what i do need, are a monitor and speakers, both of which I don't know much about, could you find me some good speakers (good bass!)
and a high res monitor? (23", nothing too expensive )
:p

This is just slightly over your total budget of £750. I've included everything... a full 1080P monitor also.

You would need to up the budget slightly if you wanted any better... either that... or compromise on a few things... like the case, dvd writer ( I know I don't use them)
