Taken 2

So here is a story.

So I kinda knew about this back the end of last year as the production crew were obviously scouting for places to film. They visited my apartment as they knew the building manager and wanted to film some stuff in our courtyard type area, and wanted to know if they could use our apartment too. They said it was for taken 2 (I hadn't seen the first), so I said OK and forgot all about it. January rolls around, and before I knew it my whole place had become a film set. Living out here, I see film sets all the time, and have been on various sets for a bunch of things, but having it in your apartment and all outdoor areas is very different.

So anyway, long story short, they filmed a whole bunch of scenes for this film at my place for 2 days. I'm not allowed to say exactly what they filmed at mine, as I signed my life away, however...those shots in the link were all taken outside my apartment on the first day, and the second day was a bunch of internal and external scenes during the afternoon and into the night.

Everyone was cool, sat and had a few cups of tea with Liam and got all Lost geek with Maggie. Was fun, but won't be letting people in to do it again for a while!

I have some pictures on my laptop somewhere, I will try and find them.

Now that is a cool story bro

Found them yet?

Shia LaBeouf could star in the reboot!

It saddens me that people rely on the sequel angle so much. I'm a bit gutted that Christopher Nolan is focussing only on super hero movies at the moment. Whilst they are great, I'd much rather have a fresh new film.

Memento
Prestige
Inception

All awesome films

All awesome apart from Inception.

Looks okay from the trailer, still not sure about the story though or if a sequel was really needed at all :/

From the trailer and what was on MTV it doesn't sound like his daughter is the one doing the getting them back though? Looks like they take her again and his wife then he goes after the lot of them and kills them all?

I was surpised how much I enjoyed the 1st movie - it wasn't a cheese fest like the segal movies. Neeson was scary in the role - there was no humour in the acting just pure determination and completely absorbing.

This. Watched it with my mates on a typical lad night, takeaway and beers in. It's the only film where we actually sat there and couldn't take our eyes off the tv, brilliant film.

Whilst that's may be just the premise that they're wanting revenge on Neeson full stop when they 'started it' is a bit stupid and then this time kidnapping his ex wife (who I assume he's now rekindled with) just sounds like it's going to be the same film all over again. That may not be a bad thing but if it turns out drab it could tarnish the memory of the first :/

I do agree it sounds pretty much rinse and repeat from that point, but I don't know, if they do it good it may be a good film. It may also however, not and be terrible
