I'm sitting here at work watching old repeats of Takeshi's castle on Challenge!

I honestly haven't stopped laughing:p

I know it's old now, but it nevergets tired:D

What's your favourite game on it?

I love the older ones. Knock-Knock is my Fav, where they have to choose whoch door to go through. I love it because sometimes people run at it and hurt themselves But they don't have to!!, they can go as slowly as they like.
Also Velcro-Fly is great;)

I like the one were the contestants have to run at a screen, which could be paper or solid. Hilarity ensues when they do a good 15 foot run up and smack straight into a solid wall!

Don't know what it was called but I liked the one with the doors, where they always ended up running into the wrong one. xD

Yeah that is knock-knock. Some of them leg it as fast as they can and jump head first!

The japanese get great stuff like this, and we get poor imitations like Wipeout.

Love this show, always makes me laugh, even though it's pretty old now
(1986 - 1989 originally in Japan).

The Maze - love the chaos, always get a laugh when the contestants get picked up and chucked out into the water, or chased out.

The Hand/Card game. - Just something funny about giant hands waddling after the right playing card.

The running game with the multiple doors, you know some are going to bounce off and not get through, but it's always funny :D.

Bridgeball is also good for some laughs, especially the ones that manage to hang in there.

I agree with the bumper cars at the end, it's just boring and a waste of a game.

I was talking to a family member about this show when we were watching it the other day. You can tell the Japanese have fun doing it. it's all a big pantomime and performance to them, which makes it entertaining. We just don't have the same approach over here :(.

I seen this for the first time the other night after watching Bullseye on Challenge.
I couldn't stop laughing, the stepping stones was hilarious.

I've only seen one so haven't seen all of the challenges. Has anyone actually completed the challenge and broke into Takeshi's Castle?
If I'm honest I thought it was some made up challenge for the poor Vietnamese to win a small amount of money.

Heh, the spinning mushroom over the water:)

Wish challenge would pick up the rights to the old british it's a knockout shows.

They'd do just as well as Takeshi's on the regular challenge audience.... old knockout was much loved.

i must be close to seeing every episode and have only seen someone win once , it was about 6am and me and a housemate had been up all night , we took it upon ourselves to phone half our phonebooks and tell them what we had witnessed :p

I have seen one person win it i think.
It always gets a slight chuckle when every week Craig Charles says "No winners this time on Takeshi's Castle";)

The guy who runs at the boulder at 50 secs is brilliant!

Don't like the American voiceover though
