I bought a fan yesturday for my bedroom as im finding it quite hot in my room even with all the windows open. Its perfect for cooling me down, i have it at the bottome of my bed blowing all over my body.
But the problem is i basically since i can remember i suffer from really bad wind to the point that its not funny anymore. It seems to get really bad when im in bed but cause ive worked out a system of placing my legs at a special angle along with my bed covers. The smell shoot right out the bottom of the cover. But basically my fan is defeating my tactic (which took weeks to perfect) by just blowing it straight into my face.
The shop i bought it from usually ask a reason for taking items back, now theres my problem. I dont want to tell them the truth as they will only see the funny side of this serious problem. So what should i tell them, should i say it just doesnt cool me down or what?

Cheers in advance.

Have you seen your doctor about that? Seriously. I know some people get it bad but it's worth investigating. Maybe see a dietician too.

As for taking it back, since the fault is with you, and not the fan, SoGA would seem not to apply. You're therefore subject to the goodwill of the shop. First thing to do is make sure it's in as near as new condition as possible - clean, all packaging, etc., then try your luck.

I would however suggest you simply claim that it wasn't suitable for the intended purpose rather than mentioning your bodily malfunction. :D
