Depends on what you do with it, how you use your computer. As a fairly heavy user, it made a huge difference over my RAID0 Raptors. If all you do is play games it's not that significant of an upgrade (though playing certain games like TF2 and BC2 it's always nice to be first into a server and have your choice of class and vehicles).
This is all balanced against increased space management to ensure that you are making best use of your limited SSD space - moving game directories around etc.
Something worth considering is Fancycache, as discussed in This Thread
Just put the drive into your existing system and use the SSD as Layer2 Cache.

I play games, but mainly FM11 and I have steam on its own 500Gb drive...
Or would it be better buying into a Q6600??
My rig is quite old-ish now, E8400 @ 3.6Ghz, Biostar T-Power I45 mobo, GTX460 Hawk Talon Attack. HDD's are 2xWD RE2 500GB's in RAID0, 1x F3 and 1x F1 (both 1Tb).
So, where would you spend £100 on this machine?
Or would it be better buying into a Q6600??

Close call, For a gamer though I'd make the jump to Quad Core (If you're confident of getting it over 3Ghz)
Then again I'm not really sure how resource intensive FM11 is.
