Depends how much you want Forza I suppose. If you don't like shooters Xbox probably isn't the way to go. MS stick to the mainstream and shooters is what they want.

there's also fable which i enjoyed on 360 years ago didnt get to play the 3rd game tho and kinetic games for the kids

I'm no fan boy for either in all fairness as long as the games I play are good graphics don't bother me
 
This thread is stupid anyway, get both, pick the games that you like on each, no good if all your mates is on one network and not the other.

It's what I do, graphics be damned.

No one says buy both on the same day, it's something that has a life span of a decade. People change cars every year at he costs of thousands, £250 for an appliance that lasts like 10 years is a bargain?

If you don't want both then buy the ones your friends have, unless you play all the single player games, or you care about graphics above all.

It's VERY simple to me? It depends what you value the most.

I own both too, I'm just saying not everyone is like that, although the OP will be at Christmas. :)

That's fair enough. They all have their pros and cons. Loved chilling on the couch with a controller and a few mates round. Thing is, console games are moving away from splitscreen which is a real shame IMO. Most games nowadays you'd need two consoles to play with each other in the same room. :(

It's a rubbish console that looks like a VCR. It's only going to get worse as well when new games come out, I'll be surprised if it even manages 720p at 30fps for games that come out in a few years.

Stick with the ps4 it's only going to get better and will always have the best graphics that match that of a £3,000 PC. You'll also have the most fun on it, I mean there's a plethora of 8 bit indie games you get for free every month via PS+, they are consistently the best games you can play, I mean who wants to play AAA games when we have all these indies!
