Talk talk router problem. Help pls

My friend has joined talk talk but he's having problems with his wireless router.

He's connected everything up but he can't seem to get a light on his router for connecting to the his telephone line ,The router to pc light is fine.

His line is active and he tried another modem and that found the line and the light came on.

Any ideas what to do or what it could be please?

U/P Issue ? Blown LED ? Anything from the router logs would help.

He took it back to the shop and as soon as he walked in they said let me guess faulty router.Seems they've had a few of them he's now got a new one and it works fine.
