How's talk talk fibre large for Gaming ? Are their pings any higher? Than say bt sky Etc

im not on fibre yet, ping is 22

Don't have it myself but a friend does. Pings and speed is fine, similar to BT on the same street, but the router is awful, he replaced it with an Asus router and is now able to take advantage of the fibre speeds with wifi.

Friends been offered 18 month contract for 76mb at 27.70 including line rental is this a good deal?

Been on Talk Talk since back end of last year - been very happy with the service.

Gave all the specs I receiving from the connection - nothing has changed really since then.
I think I'm paying around £27/month all in - so line rental, upto 80mb broadband. 18 month contract. Oh and CallerID was also included in that price too.
Also believe I had a call plan - free calls anytime for 12 months added too, think that was something to do with the hack they suffered and they were giving all customers a freebie, I got it even though I'd only just joined.

As for the router - still using it. No better and no worse than anything BT, Plus, Sky etc will give you. I don't however use the included wireless any more, I use a Ubiquity device in the middle of the house instead.
