Talking On LIVE!

I wouldve been quiet but the first time went on live was PGR3 with people from here and it was a blast so I lost all inhibitions then. 2nd time was playing Graw with McDingle and Gord. I honestly thought they mustve been on something :D 2nd time ever on line and I had to listen to a convo about sandbergs.

Worst of all is Krono it's hard to get a game with a silent host ;) Even his new son tries to get in on the mic.

I used to be dead quiet and never spoke or sent voice messages.

Now I cant be shut up and only send voice messages.

IMO it just feels better when you are playing online and able to speak to people and build a better community. I think that due to the chit-chat more people have enjoyed and returned to our GRAW sessions, than would have had it been a silent affair.

It was sandbergs and giant sized chunky kitkats iirc. I cant quite remember how they related to each other (the kitkat may have had some sort of adhesive properties).

Are you trying to say I talk too much?

Yes 5v5 that we had on saturday wouldn't have been half as much fun silent. There's nothing like 9 others laughing their heads off as someone kills themselves with their own weapon ;)

Its krono vs Danny - Krono is hiding behing a stack of tires and the newly created stack of **** (of the verbal variety and the fear inspired smell variety). Knowing that Danny knows where he is (as Danny always knows where I am the cheater).

A Few grenades go off Krono has not figured out where they came from but is aware that they are getting closer.

All of a sudden there is a white flash and the lorry across the map disintergrates. at the top of the screen is the message Danny Killed by Danny

Oh yeah forgot about that, I was thinking of Alrik Blowing himself up with the grenade launcher oooppps :D

Anyway lunch is now over :( Better get back to it ;)

Im quite shy in real life so talking on live is a bit daunting at first, but once you get to know poeple then its usually fine. The first few folk I met where a good laugh.

I played some uno with some american lads (sounded in their 20's +) was an absoloute blast, convos were hilarious especially as one quick beer turned into a few. Just depends who you are on with, i know a lot of people go on about loudmouth americans (especially the nerdy up themselves teens) but their brash attitude often opens up the convo nicely, only brits aside from u lot that talk are either drunk or about 9yo!
I agree, I don't have a problem with americans over live even though a lot do. As I said the only people who I have a problem with are those that snort, cough and sniff constantly down the mic :o

Maybe I should try my headset tonight when I play some burnout. Its a weird shape now but it might still work :p Thinking about it playing the crash levels on Burnout were quite sociable back when I used to use my mic.

I think a couple of "wide" people that caused me to have to yank out the headset mid game are what put me off using it (and what caused it to get stuffed under the sofa in the first place)

I'm more of a listener, it feels a little silly talking to strangers. When playing with my friends etc though I talk a lot more.

I'll always have the mic muted until I want/need to talk, and when I've finished it'll go back on mute. :)

I also remember in the same game where Im running straight at you shooting, your about to die, then I get a nice grenade at my feet. I can't rememeber who threw it but I think that was danny also.

There was also the game where I was running at you shooting, you were about to die and you (cowardly) blew us both up with a grenade. Your team was at my mercy. (up until that point)*

*well until Ceeg(aka wrathamon) found and wall hacked me.

Tis True that was me :( Pesky Graw weapons select system ;)

I don't really talk much on live but when my brother and his mates are in the room we all talk. We got this American kid to sing songs for us much to our amusement :D .

I'll talk more when the sodding 360 headset gets replaced by something half decent that doesn't make you sound as if you'd inhaled helium. Can anyone actually decipher voice messages that people PM you? The only word I can make out is "hello" and thats it.
