Talking On LIVE!

I'll talk more when the sodding 360 headset gets replaced by something half decent that doesn't make you sound as if you'd inhaled helium. Can anyone actually decipher voice messages that people PM you? The only word I can make out is "hello" and thats it.

Mircosoft are releasing a new wireless headset in the fall which were already half way into so we could expect it in november sometime. Its supposed to have much higher audio quality, Im getting one myself so ill let everyone know if its any better.

Think everyone will be after that headset. I just hope it's a big improvement over the shambolic one we get with the 360. The wireless jobbie deffo looks class in the video I saw for it.

I've never spoken on Live, mainly because my headsets still in the box the 360 came in.....Don't really play any games that would require it and i have no desire to be chatty to strangers......

Although lastnight playing TDU, a nice sounding Yankee female (OMFG!!!11111) kept asking if i had a headset.......Sadly i don't know morse code for NO, otherwise i would have communicated through my headlights :o

you get used to it, i was kinda the same when i first got on live but now i just log into a room and say "hello" or "hows everyone today"

thats it

Well i bring you people the Smack Talk a new innovation. for 360. :D

GameDr and Digital Innovations have developed the SmackTalk, a smallish voice-recording dongle that hooks into the 360 controller and headset. Users can record up to five clips via their headset's microphone, which become immediately accessible for playback via the five buttons on the SmackTalk unit on Xbox Live's voice service.

I wish more people were scared to talk. There are too many trash talking, singing, egotistical 13 year olds on there. I just keep mute and cap them, I love hearing them whine about how I cheated :)

True. Majority of them seem to be American

Personally I hate it when people don't talk in a xbox live game, I really like hearing n making British friends on xbox live better then playing alone.

Does anyone else have the same fear about talking on LIVE for the first time. I sit their with the head set on but am too scared to talk.... I am using the excuse that it is "sad" to talk online. I wish my friends would hurry up and get 360's so I can do it without saying "hello can anyone hear me...mocka mocka mocka"?

Added as a friend :)
