Yes it will. :D You are closer to your local phone exchange than I am mine, and I have a line attenuation of 52db! Yet I have a higher sync rate than you, however I am on ADSL2+ come to think of it.. Are you on standard ADSL (up to 8mb)?

What's your post code (or pm me it) and I'll check your exchange what other providers or LLU access (best bet!) you have available.

TalkTalk is not nearly so bad as many make out and you can ask them to 'tune' your line for the fastest connection possible.

Yup, not bad for a 'free' connection either :D

Can't say I ever notice traffic shaping to any descernable degree and my line rarely drops, when it does it's only for a couple of minutes every three weeks or so.
 
I'm with plusnet (i know you've picked another one) and they have been fine till a few months back when my speed started dropping
went from 16mb down to 10!
 
I went with Zen in the end but I am finding the 50GB allowance to be tighter than I thought. IDNET is another well recommended one but their allowance is worse again.

Any other recommendations about who I could look at? Ideally not paying more than £25/month.
