Sorry if there's a thread on this but couldn't find one.

Has anybody used this, as it seems too good to be true. Similar to the old giffgaff goodybag, but with unlimited voice mins.

Is there a catch like you'll end up with a massive voice bill because you called an 08 or 03 number?

Thinking of getting one for my sister, as she's currently on the £20 a month unlimited giffgaff.

Talktalk have bitten me before with a disgraceful home BB deal that I managed to get out of, so I'm a bit wary about this.

I used to have a talktalk sim with 1gb a month data, I never got close to using that 1gb as even when I managed to get 3G ( vodafone signal is useless ) the speed was so slow it was unuseable.

If you mean the broadband + mobile deal it's part of their multi-market play and only works out if you go with them all in. Expect both BT and Voda to have offers very similar to this within the next year - BB+Mobile+TV(+land line if you were born before 1980). As for this particular deal...http://telecoms.com/418422/talktalk-joins-bt-in-mvno-race-to-the-bottom/
Firstly, the deal is available for the next two months, with purchase of the all-in SIM at £12 valid until the 30th June.

Additionally, if a broadband customer were to cancel, the terms of the SIM package alter radically.

“If a customer cancels their TalkTalk broadband account, the cost of the All-in SIM will rise to £24 a month and the package will change to 2000 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data a month,” said a TalkTalk statement.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, TalkTalk only offers 3G, so it remains to be seen how much “streaming and downloading day in day out” customers will be able to do.
It's on O2's network (there are 2 networks now within O2 - the 4G site one they "share" with Voda and the old one they don't. This is the latter). I think they are under-investing on this one right now but this is personal opinion. If you go for this deal deffo do a check first with O2/GG/Tesco on 3G only and see what the results are. O2 are actually in a bit of a pickle if they join up with three because three are part of the MBNL mobile network with EE and O2 are part of Project Beacon with Voda so er... not sure what's gonna happen there.
