Is anyone here on the TalkTalk Essentials Broadband package? If so can you remember what you got in your welcome pack?

I went through the 'moving into a new house' option when I signed up for it and they're coming to install it on my move in date, but I've just had a text to say they've posted out my welcome pack... to the new house where I don't live yet! :o If it's just a letter that's fine, but I know some send out the router in advance which obviously I wouldn't be there to accept. Tried their helpline but didn't get much sense out of them.
 
Cheers - what a pain! They told me on the phone it was just the contract etc so would go through the letterbox and I could just get it when I moved in. Not a good start to the TalkTalk experience :mad:
 
Is this a rental or a bought house?

Either way, getting TalkTalk to install on your move date was a bit ambitious, what happens if they need to enter the property before you have the keys?

It's hardly their fault that you aren't around to take receipt of the new router either, what were you expecting them to do?
 
They have a specific 'Moving into a new home' option when signing up which asks for your move in date, and they asked for my current address as well, I was expecting them to send the welcome pack to my current address seeing as it's weeks before my move in date. Otherwise what's the point in having the separate 'I don't live there yet' option?
