Hi,

Anybody looking for a good kids film could do worse than checking out Tangled, went to see it yesterday with this kids and Grandparents and we were all suitably entertained .

HEADRAT

It is a really good film, dont know about you but I am enjoying the kids films better than so called block busters. Other ones to watch out for is Dispicable Me and Megamind both are really good.

Would quite like to see this, it's got some pretty positive reviews on rotten tomatoes/metacritic.

Enjoy Zachary Levi in CHUCK, so ill probably see this eventually.

Encouraging to see that recently there seem to be more quality animated outings being released, that didn't come from Pixar. While i love their films, it would be nice to see the other big studios like Dreamworks and Disney animation knock them off of their pedestal.

Ive seen this and tbh its definitely a kids film - dont expect anything in there thats vaguely entertaining for an adult. Disney just make a very good film thats just decades too late - titles by Pixar and Dreamworks at least give an adult nod to some aspects and keep you entertained...

Im surprised this isnt being described as a animated musical though - theres a song every 10mins and if it wasnt lack of costume changes I suspect I was watching something from Bollywood. If you are dragged to see it by the kids, go for it, just dont suggest it yourself IMO...

Nice little summary. Glad I avoided it, the adverts seem to give a different impression.

Dont get me wrong its a nice film, but dont go in there thinking its a Shrek or Toy Story - Im so used to animated films covering the whole family, but this is squarely aimed for anyone that isnt tall enough to ride the rollercoaster...

Yeah, there's not innuendo or irreverence that you'd find in Shrek/Toy Story but it's a nice little film that bounces along, pretty much a "family film". As long as you go in with the attitude that you're happy to be entertained and not expecting it to be too "clever" then you'll be fine.

I saw this yesterday and i really enjoyed it.

I don't normally do songs in films but they didn't drag on which was good.

The horse and chameleon were brilliant :D

I saw this recently and haven't laughed so much in ages, Flynn was a genius. Disagree with it being aimed squarely at children, there was quite a blatent masterbation joke in there!

Plus Rapunzel was hot and I definately would.

When it comes to CGI, I much prefer Dreamworks. I will watch Tangled though because I'm a fan of Disney in general but I prefer their 2D/traditional stuff usually. My one exception when it comes to their CGI though is Tinkerbell. Again, it's aimed at younger kids but I think that the animation is beautiful and stands out from other CGI.

Tangled is great. :D I hated Toy Story and Shrek (I usually dislike Disney movies in general), but I thought this was genuinely funny throughout.

Personally I'd highly recommend it to adults and children alike.

Rapunzel : "I've put the satchel somewhere you'll NEVER find it!"

Flynn : *looks around* "It's in that pot over there isn't it?"

:D

Oh and Pascal = awesome.

On topic though, watched it about a week ago. It was pretty good. Pascal and Flynn were good.

It *is* good. Definitely worth a watch/rent, anyway. But I don't think I'd BUY it to keep.

Saw this at the cinema last week with the kids, cost us a pound each!! Really enjoyed it, Rapunzel is hot and Pascal was class.

Really good family film.
