Tartiflette recipe

The success was largely down to your recipe and advice!! Don't know if I've already mentioned, I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to cooking. I managed to burn a Bolognese sauce last week :D
Don't be so modest - you did all the hard work!

Cooking something like that is a massive achievement for a self-confessed 'rubbish' cook, and one not to be taken lightly. It just goes to show what can be achieved with the right information and some motivation to help you along.

Bolognese next, is it?

The cordial was lovely actually... ...Will be buying more of it when it runs out!
Glad to hear it hit the spot!

I think the highlight was cracking the crust of the cheese after the hour in the oven. Cracked almost like a souffle.
For the bolognese, I followed an online recipe with loads of ingredients but I decided to let it simmer a little too long without checking. Most of it was stuck to the sides of the saucepan. Pity as it was tasting OK when I tasted it beforehand. Managed to salvage a bit of it and had it with a child's portion of spaghetti! I was hungry an hour later!
