taskbar icons

might sound daft but when i fresh installed I had nod32 and other apps in the task bar- now my computer only loads a few, why is it doing this?ive checked what should be loaded on start up but it all seems ok?any help would be great?im using win xp home if thats any help

You aint hiding unused icons by any chance are you?

I know it sounds daft but i did a similar thing once
