Taskbar missing - help!

Hi guys,

a long time ago I installed Rainmeter and somehow selected an option to hide the Windows 7 taskbar. It hid it so well that I've never been able to find it! I've since uninstalled rainmeter and still can't find the taskbar.

I can press the windows button and the side bit pops up, but I can't get the part that runs along the bottom of the screen.

I've also gone in through Control Panel and toggled throughall the appropriate options to lock it, auto hide etc and there's still nothing.

Any ideas???

Edit - I've noticed that it momentarily pops up when the computer boots up, but then disappears. I've tried moving the mouse to the bottom of the screen in case it's auto hiding, but that doesn't do anything ...

Reinstall Rainmeter and restore the taskbar that way?

you should be able to extend the taskbar, make sure you unlock it first then just drag it.

I would if I could remember where the option was!

There's nowhere on the Startup bit that's dragable...

Doesn't matter if you don't remember. Just install it and find it again.
