Taskbar won't un-hide

I've had this before when using Chrome, but I use Opera these days and all was well until yesterday, now the taskbar won't 'un-hide' when I mouse down to the bottom of the screen, it works fine when Opera is either closed or the window is minimized but as soon as I go full screen I lose the ability to show the taskbar.

Any ideas? W7 ultimate btw.

Lock the taskbar checkbox ticked?

Have you got Opera in Kiosk mode or similar (F11 on Internet Explorer and Chrome)?

Lock taskbar unchecked. Browser window is just full size not fullscreen (F11).

I can't think of anything that's changed in the past few days other than a Java update, could that cause it?

Looks like a bug in the latest version of Opera - numerous people with the same issue here.

Maybe roll back to the previous version of opera or wait it out for a fix.

Ah I see, thanks. Didn't know there'd been an update.

This was the exact reason I switched from Chrome to Opera in the first place, FFS.
