Just a quick question on TAT, I found the answer really from googling but wanted an opinion from the people on this board instead and couldn't find my answer when searching. Basically I'm wondering about TAT (Intel's Thermal Analysis Tool) and it's workloads that you can stress both core's 100%. TAT 100% workload on both cores full load raises my temps a good 7c above Orthos can even at priority 10 running any of the tests. Whilst I'm still safe even with TAT's 100% workload (65c full load after 10 minutes on both cores in TAT), I'm just wondering really:

Does any application or game stress the CPU as much as TAT does for long periods of time, and is it likely we'll see an application/game stress that much out of the processor?

Little more searching found my answer I think. In case anyone was wondering...

TAT inflicts an additional 20% load on top of the CPU's TDP... ie: you're effectively making 120% load on the CPU. No other app will load it to this value, so you're seeing the hottest temps you're ever gonna get by using TAT... it's a relatively useless tool as a load applicator because of this.
