Anyone know of any good websites which have tattoo designs? Getting a sleeve done and I have some ideas but trying to look at some other designs just so I can fine tune it. I know I can google image search which is good but I want an actual site which I can buy/print out some sleeve designs and edit them to my design if that makes sense?

Thanks

You would be better off speaking to a tattoo artist (or just an artist really) and seeing if he can make some suggestions rather than just ripping off other ideas, that way you don't have to settle for what other people have come up with, you can get something tailored to your likings.

get a friend who's good with a pencil to draw you something from what you imagine you'd want and like; don't go with generic stuff (tribal should die imo)

Eh, Tribal sleeves can look good on the right person assuming they have a decent artist, it's just that most of them are ****.

but EVERY chav in the universe has one... and, what was the nail in the coffin for me; the other day my 16yo bro said he really wanted to get a tribal tattoo - that screamed to me that if you want one, but can't be arsed to come up with a design, just go for one of them 'cos they're cool. no. sorry, just dislike them with a passion

What sort of style are you wanting? You'd be better to google artists excelling in the style you want to find good work;

Western traditional

Xam
Valarie Vargas
Tutti Serra

Traditional Japanese

Horiyoshi III
Horikitsune (Alex Reinke)
Stewart Robson
Iain Flower

Modern Japanese

Shige
Rodrigo Souto

Biomech

Guy Aichensen
Piotrek Tatton

The Nordic tribal was more to cover white space so to speak as not really sure what to have in it's place. I'm going down the whole Nordic/Thor route so other than the tribal(norse) I'm not sure what else to have.

@Morba; thanks mate

Thanks too :)

Just google tattoos, etc and look at sites and google images. Usually the sites for tattoo studios/artists has portfolios you can browse.

Sometimes its best to get the tattoo artist to knock up a drawing based on your ideas. The artist might design something that far exceeds expectations :)

This would be my response.
