i had a h r giger design done free hand from the top of my arm down to my forearm going mostly all round my arm very detailed and looks like its alive with working mechanisms took two sittings one was six hours the other was three and a half :)

I know Piggy had hers done all in one go. Think it was around 3 hours or something. Don't quote me on that though :o

Man, some of these tatoos are bloody awesome (is bloody considered a sweary?). :D

I especially like richyfinger's and thebrasso. Might have to shimmy meself up to the parlour for a tatoo. :D

I'll wait till Im a sexy adonis first though. :D

Also this thread gets plus points for having sexy piggy tatoos. :D
 
My fairy took about an hour and a half ish. But I did have baby Tiggy with me at the time as there wasnt anyone who could look after her at the time.

I'll try and get a pic tomorrow when 8 I3ALL is here.
 
Mine (post 57) took 2 hours 20 in one sitting. I'm impressed with it, its a rubbish phone camera picture and doesn't show the detail in it, the shading at the edges etc.

My back took around 8 hours or so over a number of sessions. However, the outline was done in one session.

I've had my tattoo's almost ten years now, so I'm struggling to remember. :D
 
Mic (Jhadur) also has 3 tattoos - a little dragon on his arm, a symbol thingy at the bottom of his neck and a couple of dragons on his back:

I had this done about 2 and a half years ago when I was big into bikes. It took 4 hours in one sitting.




Thinking of getting this one done soon. Pardon the crap image but the finished thing will look much better.

I always kind of wanted a tattoo, but haven't yet put enough thought or guts behind it!

I've just been fiddling with a design but gawd knows where I'd put it. All the cool places I can think of are areas which would get shown up by the style of wedding dress I will eventually want - and I'd like to at least pretend to look pure when that day comes around :D

I'm not going to even try and pretend I'm all pure ;) .. My wings will firmly be on show :D

By that time I would have told my parents that my tattoo is actually a proper one and not one of those 5 year jobbies which they think I have :o
