Tattoo's

Aye, bepanthen 3 times a day if possible. Mine healed beautifully using the method my artist recommended.
Cling film over it for 5 days, clean with Dove soap 3 times a day and change clingy and apply cream.
Avoid sunlight and hot soaks in the bath till healed.

Look after them right and you wont look like an old sailor in a decades time, keep covered or high factor lotion in the sun

Out of curiosity, why did you get the word 'gangster' written in Chinese put on your arms? Are you implying you're a gangster?

Not meaning any offence or anything but people tend to have tattoos for personal significance in the main which may mean nothing to anyone else.

I seem to recall someone on here with a load of stars on a part of their body got branded an emo or some such nonsense, turned out that it was a very significant number which was pretty personal to them.

Others just want one to mark a significant point in their lives permanently.
Others just like them to think they are "hard" or "cool".
Others because they like a bit of art.
Others because they like the buzz - which unfortunately gives you the "must get another one" feeling I have at the moment LOL.

There are many reasons for choosing a tattoo, some better than others, but at the end of the day its your body, do what you want with it IMO.

They are quite thin and small, all I used for mine was savlon as often as possible, as soon as it had soaked in I put more on it, didnt itch at all and the scab all fell off within 10 days, the last few bits are the worst because you want to just pick them off but ususally they will drops off in a hot shower, I didnt have to get mine re-touched or anything :)

just healed from yet more tattoo sessions, this one goes over the joint of my arm, and half way down my forearm.

Wanted to reply with this picture I have just seen of a friend's new tattoos, based on the Ernst Haeckel pitcher plants.
Very impressed,

mine currently just comes below my elbow. gonna lay off for a bit until fully healed before i get more.

I don't like tats personally and have been disappointed by my 20 year old daughter who had her boyfriends name tatooed on her arm - now they have broken up and she is "forever" chained! silly girl - she could have had a rose or butterfly or something sensible - not his bleeding name! ugh!

I hope your tats are "healing" well.

well you shall never know

I dont see the reason for this, you post a thread to the public about your tatoos, then show pics of both the design and the actual work, post the info about the consultation, but wont tell why you have had them done.

Im still tempted to get one, yet to find the sort of thing that I want yet and dont think that I could explain myself well enough to an artist to let them design something for me.

Thank you for your order. In Chinese we have two versions for gangste. I am giving you both.

Version 1
The characters are arranged from left to right:
1+2=gangster ( this refers to a gangster in general, somebody who engages in a gangster's behaviour but not necessarily formally belonging to a gang)

Version 2
The characters are arranged from left to right:
1=dark
2+3=society
4+5=member
(this refers to specifically to a gangster who has officially joined an underground criminal gang. In Chinese , we call these gangs "triad or dark society" - like the mafia)

Two formats are provided for your convenience. The GIF file will print out larger, while the JPG will print out smaller but clearer.

If you can spare the time, please reply to this email with your feedback regarding our service. We will try our best to keep our customers satisfied.

Regards,
Tai Oi Yee

Any particular reason why you chose to get it done in chinese? Or why youd want sexy gangster tattooed on your arm?

You get that checked by anyone reliable before you had it put on there? Always makes me laugh seeing people with chinese or other foreign languages tattooed onto them... for all they know it could say "Crispy Duck with Pancakes" or "I'm a total ****** and have no idea what this says". ;) :D

Anyone ever had laser treatment to get rid of a tat? There are a couple i want to zap. I don't want them 'Covered up'.

The place i got laser hair removal done is primarily a tattoo removal place and i spoke to the nurse about it..apparently the tech is very good these days and the days of just rough fading are gone..they can pretty much get rid of them completely now;.
