Seems high.

The increase from £8,105 to £9,440 gives you an extra £22 odd a month for a basic rate taxpayer.

Higher rate taxpayers won't see that much due to the reduction in the amount before they start paying 40%.

Yep don't I know it - seems we get stung again , I can't even be bothered to see what the thresholds have come down to but with inflation it should go gone up massively - don't think this has done any favours for the government in winning any votes at the next GE .
