tax Question

Hello!

My work made a mistake with my wages which ment i wasnt paying the correct tax the passed 2 months, i noticed this my self and fixed it my self

however will i get taxed to hell as i owe them money this coming pay or will it come off over the year ?

How do you owe them money? I've not heard of anyone getting a massive cut unless they are on the wrong code.

well they only taxed me a 1/3rd of everyone else in the office

I paid too little tax last year (not by much though before anyone says enything

) and the Inland Revenue came back to me and said they would adjust my allowance to compensate this year.

Just because you pay different amounts to other people in the office doesn't necessarially mean that it's wrong.

It's unlikely that it will be collected in the tax year that commences on Thursday. If HMRC issue a calculation then it will most likely be collected through your 2007-08 tax code if you owe anything.
