TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS etc...?

Hi,

I could do with a hand from some people who really know what theyr talking about, could someone explain to me how the following each work and how they work together in large scale network environment....

TCP/IP
DNS
WINS
DHCP

Im trying to increase my networking knowledge but could do with some assistance....in depth explanations are welcome)

i didnt ask for other sources, I asked for someone who was feeling like they wanted to share their knowledge for some assistance, that way I can ask them questions back if I have any, its a bit hard to ask a book a question

and tbh people on forums are far more likely to explain it in ways I will udnerstand than some book written by some idiot whos never actually done networking they just read a book on it as well

so please, if your not going to assist then dont reply

i already know some about each of them but i thought it might be easier for someone to explain from the start, books generally either expect you to know something already and if you dont your screwed or are so patronising its unbareable to read them

if someone would like to help then fine but i have better things to be doing than arguing over asking someones help

upper layer protocols
lower layer protocols
and protocol stack?

my whole point is I would like it in english
