Think that they missed a trick with this add on pack. Played earlier with a friend who hasn't bought the extra cars, and he couldn't see what car I was in, just the default one.

Now, if they'd made it so that others could see what they can't buy I believe they would sell to a few more people. People always want what others have got

Anyone else found it easier to find people since this pack came out? Dont know if its coincidence, but i've found it much easier to find people since I got the pack :confused:

In order for the other people to see the cars they cant but it would involve downloading a large amount of the pack for the car textures. Also I've been able to spawn on people easier since this too, maybe they have done something with the servers.

For people without the car pack to get the cars you'd need them to somehow get the textures and shape files. A lot of work that.

Only need a patch, the whole d'load was only about 200mb. Wouldn't be unreasonable.

But then people could just wait for someone they know to get the pack and get the cars. Atari would then be cheating themselves of potential income.

Works on Forza 2. Bet they sell a buttload of the quarterly car packs because of it too. e.g. "Holy crap that guy in that new Evo X is quick, gotta get me one of those!".

The guy in the Evo X is me, naturally.

To use the cars you have to put in a cd-key for that pack. What you say would be right for those who only play offline. What i'm on about is just letting others see the new cars. You cant buy or sell any of the new models in the trade section (which I was gutted about, expected to clean up

).

Just my opinion anyways.

well when i was driving around last night i met a guy in my dino who didnt have a car pack and he saw me in it and asked how i got it

he did ask me how i got dino so i think he was able to see it unless it said that i got dino :confused:
