So is TDU worth getting as an offline game on its own?

Played the demo ages ago when it came out on the 360, might pick this up for the PC if it's worth it

I'd really like to buy it, its just such a shame the multiplayer doesnt work that well

I remember playing the BETA and it worked awesome - if only the real game could it'd be in 1 of my fav games

If you can get it cheap then yes. I've had quite a few hours of fun in offline mode.

Not the best £10 i've ever spent, but some of the new cars are great

F40 and the Countach my favs so far.

Why would you play offline? the game is same in online mode and you get to do the chalanges other players created and if no cheaters are online you may win some

plus you do find a bargains on the market, i picked up my saleen s7 fully upgraded for £350k and viper for 10k

Even if the multiplayer doesnt work well you can still free roam with ppl that you meet or chalange them

cant wait to get home to start a new game and get my hands on some porsches (rufs)

Its very hard to get to roam with someone. I tried that with my flatmate when I got the game. We couldn't see each other.

Its hard but when you do finally see each other add em into your friends list!. Car pack aint worth 10 quid, only found like 2 cars I like, all the Lexus cars are naff too.

We did add each other to friends list. We still couldn't see each other. We gave up on bothering after that.

Hope so. If this games netcode got sorted it would be one of the best games on the pc, imo.

Heard rumours a little while back of TDU 2, have a look on google.

must say that the car that suprised me the most is murcielago roadster after coupe being imo rubish this one sounds and drives well

only sort of disapontment with new cars i tried is that the ruf spider (boxter) its bloody expensive
but then my lovely dino cost me next to nothing

f40 sounds and drives well(will try it in hardcore tomorow) as for countach i dont think it sounds any good but feels pretty good
