I was on the bus home the other day, it was late I was getting ready to go home and the bus driver was waiting for more people to get on. This lad who was in his twenties asked the bus driver to wait a minute because he needed something urgent from the SPAR next to the bus stop.

He ran in, and got a box of Yorkshire Tea. I was now utterly intrigued, how could wanting a box of tea be considered urgent? There must be something in this tea that is so addictive it makes him want it that bad..

So on my next shopping list I put a box down. Now I am not a big hot drinks drinker. I do drink some Jackson's green tea now and again, but I never drink tea as a regular thing.

So I prepared myself on how to prepare the Tea, 3-4min steeping time. I had my first cup yesterday and I am really addicted to it. I know this isn't the best tea out there but I just love the taste of it.

This then lead me to think of other Teas I have enjoyed. When I was in the US I loved the Iced tea they used to serve. Now I was wondering how to go about making this in the UK? In the USA its a pre-mixed powder and you jut mix with water.

I steeped some of the Yorkshire tea bags last night in water for a long time, and have refrigerated the steeped water. I am not sure if the tea leaves are right though?

Do any of you have experience of making Iced Tea, if so which brand / method is the best.

Furthermore for regular Tea which is your favourite?

I actually like the raspberry iced tea they do over in the states, although it was a little sweet it was pretty refreshing :)

He got the bus driver to wait?

Anywhere I've lived they'd laugh in your face and start driving off while you were still getting off.
