Tea Varieties

I've been drinking green tea with lemon for years, really don't like black teas any more!

Just recently I've been drinking a lot of Twinings white tea with pomegranate which is really light and refreshing.

I'm a BIG drinker of tea :p Right now my favourite is Earl Grey, have both the Harrods and Fortnum and Mason variants and the former has a more subtle taste.

I have a whole cabinet full of all the different Twinning tea's and I've realised I'm really not a fan of 'fruity' tea. It just tastes like warm cordial.

I had 'Suki' Breakfast tea last week and it was exceptional. Better than all other variants I've tried.

This thread is ANNOYING. Was about to go to bed but all this talk of tea has made me cave in and make one.

I've only got pg atm but earl grey is very nice. I'm obviously the opposite to you though as i actually like the taste of green tea (to be fair there is as many varieties of green tea as there are black).

Hooked on Twinings Green Tea with a hint of Lemon. I think I might try finding a slightly stronger Green Tea soon but this is nice for the moment

Ceylon, very nice, similar to assam
Nilgiri, very nice too
Kenya, quite strong flavour
Russian Caravan, one of my favourites
Earl Grey (I also have Earl Grey with vanilla which is very nice)
Lapsang Souchong, very smoky flavour, not for everyone

All black teas btw

I would recommend getting loose leaf teas rather than bags

All of these, I love them.

It's expensive trying out all of these if you end up not liking them :p I think I might have to just buy every box on the Twinning's isle and give it a try :D

Don't, Twinings is a bit like the PCWorld of teas: you get lots of kinds but when you actually look at the components or in this case the unidentifiable origin, the unknown processing etc, you realise that its all a bit pants.

Go into a small local tea shop (we have tons here in Edinburgh and I guess most towns in the UK will have them too) and ask for a kind of taster or variety pack
