Teacher sacked for breaking up a fight.

The most likely explanation that they just don't want the risk associated with it in terms of the parents having a mission to ruin the teacher's life or the press desperate to keep the frothers angry taking a very intrusive dive into the teacher's life for daring to be anything other than a weak wokist as you so put it because it complicates their agenda.

That's the most likely explanation in your mind given this?

"Mr Butler said there was no formal complaint from either of the boys or their parents about the incident. "

So I read one was strangling the other, was the teacher supposed to allow them to kill each other?

Surely he'd be sacked if he let that happen, while also being sacked for intervening. Who actually are the people working at the council making these decisions? They're the ones who should be getting sacked.

Looks like the path of least resistance to me and whilst I don't think he should be out of a job due to that cynicism maybe there's more going on that the singular story is not able to convey about his working history. For all we know he was already in last chance saloon on avoiding drama or maybe he said something to his boss who decided to be petty about it.

The last thing I'd think is a conspiracy or political agenda with a million hoops to jump through to make it make sense.

For once I'm with the unions on this one, a teacher should be able to break up a fight without fear of sanctions (provided the teacher hasn't been using unreasonable force on the pupils).

This country has it's priorities wrong, police sit by and do nothing while there's an ongoing crime, teachers getting the boot for breaking up fights, our tools of internal state security have been rendered useless because there worried if they interfere they will be the ones who get in trouble.

The police are utterly useless unless your offending someone on twitter, while working yesterday in the space of 30 minutes I saw 2 lads on illegal electric mx style bikes in the usual all black ninja outfits and 2 lads on illegal ebikes all doing excess speed or riding like absolute idiots and none had any form of safety gear on.

It's only a matter of time before they either kill themselves or someone else and going but incompetent or police are they'd probably get away with the latter.

And this is a coastal town in rural Devon, good knows what it's like in Bristol or London!

There aren't a million hoops to jump through nor is there necessarily any conspiracy... that's just an existing mentality among some people re: authority, the use of force etc..

Lol I did his in the late 80s had a fight with a lad I didn't want so dragged both of us through the door into the classroom. Short time after a small telling off and detention for us both and no parental involvement.
