Teaching Hours and new Teaching Strike?

If teachers do decide to strike they'll be shooting themselves in the foot. Right now is a daft time to demand anything extra if you're in the public sector.

We all like to have an opinion on everything. Teaching is a common one, and I have my own, but I will keep to myself.

The thing that I dont get is people talking about striking all the time.
If your not happy with your job, look for another one.

Most people cant just strike because they dont get a payrise, or projects required extra work, or they have to research in their own time.

The grown up world can be a tough place, its just life. Some work harder, longers hours, some dont.

I bet they dont ballot for strike action in the 6 weeks summer holidays !

But the point of a strike is to stop and strike from doing work, in this case teaching, kids aren't at school in those 6 weeks, so it couldn't take place then?

Stick the disruptive kids in the armed forces. If we're lucky they'll die off.

Ps. Teachers are well done by. People i know with a better education earn much less.
