Hmm, it's one of those 1.86Ghz Core2Duos, not sure if those are 64-bit. Run it pretty much 24/7 anyhowSiriusB said:What processor does your Macbook Pro have? If it is a 64-bit CPU you can run the SMP client and get yourself around 1K PPD or more. Although the deadlines on the SMP WUs are quite short [2 days or less] so your Mac would need to be running for at least 6-8 hours a day [based on my 4400+ doing an SMP WU in approx 12 hours]

Definitely worth getting it going then. I run my MBP 24/7 basically, possibly with some time off for good behaviour every now and then. I don't know how your temps are with your laptop, but mine was getting very hot doing this, so I found a nice little app to get the fans going at a lower temperature and to keep it nice and cool. It's a cool app, as it allows you to actually sit with it on your lap without going infertileBeansprout said:Hmm, it's one of those 1.86Ghz Core2Duos, not sure if those are 64-bit. Mine's a CoreDuo as well. I got mine before the C2Ds came out. They are 64bit.Beansprout said:Edit: Oopsie it's a Core Duo, so not 64-bit. Ah well, not so bad I guess.
