Team 10 News Generator - No more slacking at work for dekez!

This current output is based on real data. The interval is between Sunday 14th 1230 and Tuesday 16th 2220, ish. So represents just over two days' of production.

The stats may need some reorganizing [stomps for example] but the data itself should be spot on. I can't see any glaring mistakes. The only anomoly is people who aren't new, showing up as new. The reason for this is due to the 2 day timespan. Someone with only a few hundred PPD may not show points for days. Hopefully with the script running 7 days apart, it will not count slackers as being new each week.

Obviously if you do spot anything amiss, let me know!

EDIT: Spotted that the New people in the Top Crunchers table seem to be out of order. I have made a note to see why.
EDIT2: Fixed it! Just needed to reapply a sort.

I think I may have to knock the Auto-Posting idea on the head. The only way to display tables neatly on OcUK is to use the CODE tags. However, I cannot do any other formatting, such as bold and colours. I think the data is best displayed as Excel screenshots. Exporting to CSV is one of the features of the script, so dekez will get to do a tiny bit of copy and paste after the spreadsheets have been made. Again, if anyone has a solution to getting neat tables and formatting on OcUK, let me know!

OK there may be a slight delay on script delivery. I received an interesting email from the nice chap who runs the EOC stats website. It looks like he may be willing to create an XML feed just for Team 10.

If this goes ahead as we are discussing, I can cut out a chunk of the script and comparisons will be made soooo much easier. I am quite excited about this as it means the script becomes less complicated and more robust. Plus it is kinda cool to get a Team 10 feed

My original email from a week or two ago was the best way of grabbing multiple XML feeds from EOC. I didn't want to hammer his server and enquired about a way of getting a list of usernames via EOC [instead of parsing the Stanford stat file].

It was Jason who offered a possible custom XML feed. Easy as hell for him to make it too.

SELECT * FROM <tables> WHERE team_number = 10 COUNT 250

or something!
