Just had a e mail saying my new TV will be here tomorrow which is like a birthday present as its my birthday tomorrow![]()
Its only my 50th so nothing excitingHaby Birtdoy![]()
It is stupid how they think some people can be put off with answers like "its within the manufacturers guidelines" and thats that,i knew the fault was not right and could have turned out worse in the summer (heat issue),i had a few more questions for her that would have swaided in again in my direction but she knew i was right and gave in.I remember when I worked there years ago how frustrating it was that the repair service was always awful. I remember this chap sending his TV off because a speaker was buzzing a bit, and it came back with a big hole in the screen. Twice. Bezels all scratched up by the time it was finally repaired. And he had paid 500 quid for our whatever happens service. Eventually I managed to get him a replacement, but it is absurd how restricted the staff are. I wanted to give him a replacement straight away but just couldn't get it authorised until he'd had 3 repairs.
New tv seems ok for now,the old one didnt start making the noise until it was 11 months old.Glad it got sorted, let's hope this new one is much better
Happy belated birthday too - it was my 37th yesterday! January babies apparently are the best.... or the cheapest to buy for!
