Anyone know anything about team extreem ram ive heard its wicked fast and OC fantastically found it here at there web site

basically I wanna know whats good for my rig my mate is building he has the CPU and ive committed to EVGA 680i board know he wants to know what ram.

I also looked at the ocz flex as I may watercool (undecided) but ive heard it doesn't OC that well I liked the low latency dominators but at those prices na I don't think so (on principle of coarse)
So some help on this would be great.

OcUK used to stock it, but IIRC there was some odd situation with the import tax of the country it comes from that made it much more expensive than its rivals (I may have dreamt that, but I'm sure I read it somewhere).

Just go for the Crucial Ballistix. They (Micron) make the chips that Team use.
 
So basically your saying even though they dont stock it they wont let anyone tell me where I can get it incase I buy it from them instead of OC who dont stock it anyway forcing me to buy the ram elsewhere .:confused:

They pay for the forums and they make the rules.

It would be bad business sense to allow members to link to competitors.
 
Well I would have though a good customer relation would make better buisnes sense take amazon if they dont have it in stock they will suggest somewhere else but I guess each company is different never mind looks like I have a sleepless night trawling the interweb .

It would make better business sense to suggest an alternative product rather than an alternative supplier.

If the product is available somewhere else then it's usually easy enough to locate it.
 
And there we will have to agree to disagree but your entitled to you opinion and I respect that.:cool:
As for finding them easy enough ha I have found the brand on 2 count it 2 websites both are awaiting stock and have no dates Team ram are harder to find than the holy grail I guess I'm just not righteous enough LoL:p
 
Cob is right. It does not make sence for them to push people towards other shops. Specialy considering you may buy more then the ram from that shop. Which is highly likely considering most things in ocuk are cheaper elsewhere nowdays. is a shame but they are pushing lots of customers away now.
 
Its ashame I aggree it seems the only decent thing going for them at the moment is the forum and the feedback and rating on all the products which revolves round us doing the work .:)
But im sure they will sort themselves out.;)

On a happier not well for me anyway I got them 4GB of team xtreem ram woo hoo I wiped an online store out as soon as they came in stock LOL:D:p
