Team Fortress 2 players: Your most/least used class?

Most: Heavy / Medic / Demoman

Least: Spy (I suck really bad at it and cba to learn how to use it)

Although my stats say otherwise, I dont really play much now with the sniper, only to revenge against other snipers that get a domination on me.

Most: Demo/Medic/Pryo

Least: Spy/Scout/Sniper

Play abit of Solly if i am on a good team, just trying to get used to it.

most: pyro, engi/sniper, scout

least: doctor, demo, soldier

i'm either heavy attack (pyro/scout) or heavy defense, i don't like faffing around with (what i'd consider) the more speciality classes, i guess this is skewed quite heavily as well because i only play on 2Fort for the most part.

According to the stats

Most played : Demo though not as good as I used to be at him, and don't play him as much any more.

Followed by Engy/Medic, who im always happy to go, but it really depends on the map/circumstance.

Least Played: Heavy and spy, which is strange as during the beta they were my top played. Started playing spy a lot more now after hardly touching him since release, thanks to the cloak and dagger, really suit my play style.

Also started playing soldier a lot more recently, don't know why but i seem to be better with him. Though now I'm playing a mix of most classes now, but my least played now are definitely scout & heavy, like heavy but generally find there's not much use of him as there's usually someone else playing as him quite well.

Most played, the pryo! Something about setting people alight that just arnt expecting it is so fun! (Demo and Medic are also pretty good to play as)

Least is the soldier, scout and the engineer as i have no idea what im doing as them :(

Had a play about with the spy again last night.

GODDAMN SO INFURIATING GAH

I cloak way away from anyone, decloak when no one can see and tehy still seem to chase me down straight away, one guy last night was constantly killing me, I decided to check something and just sat in a corner invis on top of boxes so no one would run into me, he ran straight for me and rocketed me in the face :(

did manage to get a couple of teh Spy achievements tho so not a complete loss lol.

i was competative in TF2 since it came out but recently left because its not worth it, if valve bring out retarded hats instead of proper patches then it shows what they think of the game.

Main classes: Soldier/Scout/Sniper
Least: demoman/spy/med
hate playin med, so boring. im ok at demoman, spys just annoying, u only get 1 chance to geta stab in til ur detected =[

Most:
  • Demoman - Easily the most versitile class and has great damage output.
  • Solider - Again very versitile. The best all rounder in combat.
  • Scout - One of the few classes that can just get right in the thick of it and cause mayhem. Got a good skill celing on it too, so you feel like you can always learn more.
  • Sniper - Great for picking off key targets which would be otherwise hard to kill.

Least:
  • Engineer - Just plain boring and often you are left helpless as your sentry gun gets taken out. It's slow to move about to (in terms of setting up) so it can be practically impossible to keep up in a fast moving game.
  • Spy - Just never really got in to this class I suppose. Another class with a high skill ceiling, but I just prefer the more direct combat classes.

May as well comment on all the other classes as well seeing as I have commented on a lot of them already. :D

  • Medic - Easily the most useful glass in the game, but they are just so boring to play. :o I have never done it, but they all ways look more fun in a competitive game. Reason being you do not have the usual trouble of being left alone and your actions can turn the tide of the game more than any other class.
  • Pyro - Has its uses, but a lot of the time you will not get a chance to get close to the enemy if they are half decent. If you do you might get to take down one person and then just die by someone else because you cannot get out quick enough. A class I might play for one or two lifes in special circumstances.
  • Heavy - Again a class which has its uses in certain circumstances, but its lack of speed really hurts it.

...what?

I actually got better than that, 47 points and 4300 damage but I done it the day after a big update and the server hadn't updated (well, that was the excuse given when I asked why it wasn't there any more).

The most annoying thing about the game is spies, or more accurately bad spies accusing you of cheating because they are so obvious. If you cloak half way through running into my line of sight, I will shoot you. If you uncloak 5 feet away I will hear you. If you run towards me while disguised I will shoot you just in case.

Last edited:
Most - Engi/Sniper/Spy (Heavy if Im playing pub with a mate to medic)

Least - Scout/Pyro probably

Depends on the map tbh, I tend to switch a lot.

Pre any updates I stuck to the top four very few hrs on the the bottom three single figures.

Medic
Demo
Soldier
Engineer
Pyro
heavy
spy
scout

I quit playing for a while until the medic updates, ground out the unlocks then started playing sniper on the early stages of Goldrush (partially due to low FPS on my single core A64 rig in the thick of battle [constant update tax]).

With a hardware upgrade of sorts I started playing again recently and try to play the Spy more often which imo is made much more playable with the Cloak and Dagger.

It now looks like this

Medic 39
Demo 33
Soldier 32
Sniper 20
Engineer 19
Spy 18
Pyro 12
Heavy 6
Scout 3

Most: Engineer - building a turret and beast it out to score points is just awesome!

Least: Medic - Don't really care about the other plays, I'm a one man band :D

Scout has to be the most played for me, love the speed that you get and the double jump ability.

Demo-man is my least, I just dont like the style of play with him
