Hey all, just a quick note from me today, I've just finished clearing out and laying boards in my loft so off to put my feet up and chill with a beer. Hope everything is going well for you all, and as usual congrats to all the tiffy winners and welcome to the new guys! :)
 
im 14k away from a million :D yippee!!!

Anyone know why my FAH core keeps crapping out and going from 48k ppd to 13k ppd?

Nothing has changed hardware wise, ill delete the core and WU and it'll be fine for a couple then it craps out again :(

I get exactly the same here, I've just put it down to poor WUs.

Looks like I need to up my game!
 
Is the actual tpf changing when it goes from 58K down to 13K? Or is the calculation just changing.

What you get out of a WU depends on how soon before the deadline it is recieved. It could just be that its overestimating when its in the first few frames of the WU then after it stabilises and gets an average time (usualy after the 3rd frame or so) it might be re-adjusting based on the estimated finish time.

You doing any GPU crunching at the same time?

TPF goes from 1:30 ish to 20 mins plus :(
Its really hampering my points. Normally i can crunch one WU per 3 hours and get a credit of between 5-6k per EOC update, Now im getting 1500 or 4k every 2/3 updates.

Always seems to happen on 7016/7019/7610s.
 
I aim to hit 150,000 by next week :). Should do it I reckon if I add my Q6600 into the fold.

Does anyone know how I can restart a SMP WU in the FAH GPU Tracker, my WU seems to have crashed, It won't show any points or PPD on a 6099 and is totally stuck on 77%.

Hit 4m this week, good times. I've dropped from 9th to 11th in ppw and ppd though, which is not so good times, plus I'm completely skint. When I have cash, folding gear is a high priority.

Check task manager and see whats using your cpu when it switches to 20 mins.

Make sure you have no screen saver, just black screen.

Core is always at 99%, nothing changes :( im uninstalling the client and cores. will reinstall and see what happens.

On the plus side i just hit 1 Million :D

I've just checked the dumpage for the week in EOC ... I'm leading!? :eek:
I know Biffa is having problems with the SR2, but what about the 4p rig Biffa? Ba seems to be below par too.
 
Yeah it was off for a couple of days, but I got it back on yesterday but now the network is down where its located.

Got another one of these today :(

Currently sitting at an estimated PPD of 6705, with a TPF of 7m06s on a 7611 :(
 
Well I think I need to look at the units i'm getting on the farms. I'm sure i've changed some settings for some of the lower spec machines to ones that arn't best for them!!
