The observant among you may have noticed recent problems with teamocuk.com...

Status last updated: Wednesday, 29th March, 11:26 UTC

On the morning of 26th March, the Team OcUK database server suffered a partial disk failure which crashed the server. This was not detected at the time and two further crashes happened on 28th and 29th March.

Work to recover the server to working condition has now begun, but an ETA to fix is unknown and could be anywhere from one to five days.

perhaps it went down in sympathy for the poor overworked disks in calfornia?

hardware failure happens I guess, do you have easy access to a replacement disk / disks?

Sounds like it might be an idea to rebuild the database from scratch, tho that would take ages.

Going to happen anyway soon (month or so), as I'm in the process of an almost total rewrite (well, have been for about the last nine months actually :eek:

).
