I've run a Teamspeak server since around 2004. Never paid a single penny for it in all these years.
Just hosting from home on an old laptop as I have always done. Plain simple and to the point.

Similar, except in a VM on ESX. Sadly it's relegated to back up duties now as the lads prefer to use Discord, not a fan of Discord personally. 1) for their data scraping policies and 2):

I hate discord. The sound quality is like going back to 56k dial-up- its terrible.

The sound quality is noticeably worse than TeamSpeak, agreed.
