** Tech Labs Value Kits - Affordable, Performance Watercooling **

Do you have any ETA at all Rich? My 3770k would like to be a little cooler! If I can get rid of the jet engine noise too then all the better :)

Could you fit a d5 pump to this at a later date? Or would you need a new res as well?

So how would one of these loops compare to say a 212 evo for load temps?

I been in interested WC for a while, buts generally its quite expensive, but at a around £100 to get started im interested. But only if it would be a decent improvement in temps.

You could, but would need to include a reservoir. Any D5 compatible res or a D5 with a top and a separate res would be more than adequate. In honesty, if you are considering that, perhaps look at one of the v6/v8 kits.

ETA is around 10 days. Waiting for a payment to clear for xspc so they can ship the order. Shouldn't be long now though.

It would beast a 212 really. Not even in the same league. You would be looking at a significant improvement in load temp management. Perhaps not so much on noise. You would need a more premium radiator for that as the GTS Lite in these kits has a medium density of fins that isn't too low or high meaning its just a good all rounder and not specifically targeted at performance or silence.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the best bit if this kit is that for £100, you have a modular solution.

If I could advise on an upgrade path for this kit, I would suggest:

Buy the kit.

Consider adding a GPU to the loop at a later point once comfortable with the installation techniques.

Add a thick, low FPI radiator such as an SR-1 or a RXv3 and an uprated pump solution (either a D5 or DDC and a suitable res)

You could even add that to the existing rad that comes with this and just upgrade the rad capacity.

There are so many options available to you with these kits I couldn't possibly cover them all.

For high TDP chips or CPU with high overclocks, I would suggest going for the 240 kit. The 120 would be OK but would struggle to cope with higher load temps, especially in low airflow applications.

i look forward to some reviews of these. just got myself a bigger case so i have a watercooling option, but it took all my cash and chrimbo is coming :(

Having never done watercooling before ( and being scared of it :D ) Im really tempted to replace my H100i with this!

So how does this compare to the Raijintek Triton AIO Water Cooling Solution ?

Do we have an ETA on these? Is there any parts to change out to get it quicker? Even if I have to pay extra for better bits (which wouldn't be a bad thing)?
As I'm still trying to decide between this and the Raijintek Triton
As I'm keen to get something ordered over the weekend, will also need the parts to add a drain plug

Sadly no ETA. Its been put back for two reasons.

1. Is ek taking time to get the blocks to me.

2. We are ending our partnership with hardware labs.

So is there any chance that I can substitute the parts of the kits that you don't have for something else? But obviously the kits are cheaper than I can buy the parts for, hence I don't want to buy them all seperately. Even if its a completely different kit I dont mind, even if it means sourcing all the parts myself and maybe get a bit of a discount? :D
I would pay upto about £150 but don't really like the look of the other kits for that money. Or am I best off posting in CS?

Do these come with instruction manuals? Only ever used air coolers and seriously tempted to give this a go instead of a H110.

I see you have changed the rad and upped the price a bit :) They have an ETA of today is that correct?
Any chance I can pat the extra to swap the fans to these?

Also if you can, just curious how much extra this would be

I definetly want the fans though and would be nice if I could get it all ordered today.
I've never been so keen to spend some money, probably cause its not mine lol, although have to wait till xmas :(

Just wondered if you had thought of offering the same kits but with GPU blocks instead of CPU block. Eg as the GTX 970 is so popular how about watercooling kit for a single 970 and then another for 970 SLI ?

I want to watercool mine and it would be so much easier to buy a custom kit and I dont want to watercool my CPU as its fine at the moment.

Always wanted to try WCing my PC but then the fans are noiser than some heat sinks?

How does the pump sound? I have a Noctua CPU heatsink atm and its pretty much silent and my CPU is clocked to 4.4ghz well enough for my 970, i think :P

How easy is it to connect a graphics card block to this kit? And what would the cheapest best block to do this?

Dunno if its worth it for people with just one 970?
