Anybody used one of these:

TeckNet VS408 USB 2.0 to IDE/SATA Cable for 2.5-Inch/ 3.5-Inch / 5.25-Inch Drive With Power Adapter

Am i right in saying that this would be ideal to connect up a 2.5 or 3.5 IDE/SATA hard drive externally so that they can be tested etc?
