Telekinesis

A good scientist never discounts something just because it isn't proved though. Just because we can't prove it exists today doesn't necessarily mean that in 10 or 20 years or so it's a common occurrence and easily proved.

A scientist is a man who believes in science. We all know science is subject to the approval or disproval of theories. I'm not stating it's impossible, but as we knows things currently, I doubt it.

I must admit that I'm one of the biggest sceptics ever BUT I have witnessed many 'mind tricks'.
The commonest one is the mother and her new born child. Its as though there is some mental bond that the mother knows something is up.
I've known many twins and I've experienced 'happenings'.
I was working with my sister in law when she had a really bad stomach ache and puked into a bin next to her. At that exact time her twin had gone into labour.
I was working with another twin when he yelled out and said that he'd had a massive pain in his leg. He found out his brother had broken his leg at work.

So much of the human brain seems to unused, makes you wonder what it's all for. I'd estimate I've only ever used a few percent of mine at the most.. ;)
It's because a form of natural selection goes on in the brain. Only the best subset of neurons are used for things like memory etc.

Anyone practise any form of telekinesis?

I'm not to sure on the "moving things with your mind", but I do believe you can do strange things.

I bought a huge book on this which had exercises and things to practise. I myself thought it was all a load of bull until I actually managed to be able to perform things in chapter 8.

Chapter 8 is about object deformation. Goes into how every object has a certain energy flowing through it, and you use this energy to change the shape of it.

Now I know it's not very exciting and I'm sure some of you can do it, but the first thing I learnt was how to bend spoons (no I don't mean physically bending them with strength ;P) it's hard to explain without going into great detail but you can actually feel some sort of force running through the object (its always in one direction) and the way you get the spoon to bend is to force the energy the other way. No force is required at all, you don't even need to do uri gellars famous trick ;) you can just run your fingers along it and still get it to bend, just as long as you send what feels like a magnectic force the other way it's flowing.

Hoping to buy a video camera soon and I will kinda show you what I mean.

I know most will again think it's a load of rubish (like I did) but it's kind of got me hooked and I am now starting to look at the other posibilities of what can be achieved.

Does anyone else have any experiance with this, or anything they would like to share?

I know it's possible because I can do it. There's no doubt that it's possible to move things with your mind.

I think he means without using his hands or any other kind of physical touch tho :p

Why are people quick to dismiss this? For all we know it could be possible as the mind is a very powerful thing.

Form a decent theory with evidence, analysis and explanation and you'll be believed. Otherwise, you won't. Simple.

There are many things out there theories cant even explain.

haha true. It's possible to do so I'm not going to dismiss it though. I don't really have much to say about it, it's like a thread titled "are elephants grey?" Yes they are, and there's not much more to it!

I have the power to kill a yak, from 500 yards away. With mind bullets.

How 'bout the power, to move you?
Riggah-goo-goo, riggah-goo-goog.

By the way my names Wonderboy, we should join forces and form a band the likes of which have never been seen, and we should call ourselves Tenacious P. That's right.

Me and flat-6!!!

I can bends spoons with only my head too. I stare at it for 30 seconds, concentrating on the idea of it bending, and repeating "bend" in my head, then I head butt it really hard and it bends just like that.

Yeah this is one phenomena which i believe has quite some reality to it and could be explained one day by science, often its the family or twin connection that seems to be the key, probably via some sort of entanglement with mirror neurons or something, perhaps structures in their brains are so similar that a type of communication via a resonance effect is made, we know that the basic magnetic energies that flow though everything transmit vibrations so its not in the realms of impossibility, obviously its highly unlikely to be radio frequencies as we know them but perhaps they do so in a more obscure or alternative dimensional route that they travel?
