Telephone interview - but working

Could only do those days so gone for Friday morning. Now I need to formulate a plan. To be honest I doubt my current employer would be surprised that I was looking for work, but even so I don't think they'd be best pleased about it.

I was openly honest with my previous employment. I took days off no different from anyone taking annual leaves and took time in lieu for phone interviews between working hours. Unless you're in some kind of job where you actually can trump them by holding your cards close to your chest, just be open.

It's company's responsibility to induce loyalty from employee, not demand. If your current company isn't doing that, you're more than entitled to look for employment else where, so long as you keep your current responsibility checked and obviously not divulging any company secrets if potential new employer is a direct competitor.

Or just do it in your lunch break? Try and find a park or somewhere else quiet that you can go to (or even sit in your car?).

When I did mine I just found an empty room no one was using and did it there, I was gone around 40 minutes and depending on your job you could easily get away with it. If not try and arrange it for a lunch time and leave the office for somewhere quiet (if possible) and do the interview there.

Got a face to face interview in a couple of weeks. :) Which surprisingly I'm also supposed to be working on that day and the following day I'm off for nearly two weeks.

Had the interview the other day... Had a phone call earlier today offering me the job. Just need to fill out the medical form and inform work that I'll be leaving and that they'll be requesting a reference.

Happy birthday me. :)
