The hot, young neighbour across the road is called stars and planets?
Venus, aurora etc
And Uranus?
This.You won't get much for £50.
At 50 quid max budget unfortunately you aren’t going to get something new that won’t be a massive disappointment. Second hand market you might just pick up a deal with a bit of luck but at that budget you’re better off with a decent pair of bino’s and a tri/uni podHi i am looking to buy my first telescope to look at stars and planets
Any general guidance or tips on which one to buy? Prob £50 max
Not true at all, plenty to be had sub 500 but not as low as 50quid. Cheap entry scopes it’s not actually the magnification that lets the scopes down but usually awful mounts that wobble at the slightest of breezesThis.
Below £500 is pretty much pointless, you'll get a slightly zoomed in view of the moon, and that's all it would be good for it. Save your money.
