Hiya,
I ordered a Western Digital WD2500KS 16MB SATA2 250GB from OCuk 2 weeks ago, and it has a faulty onboard temp sensor, so im sending it back for a refund.
In the meantime I bought a Seagate 7200.9 SATA2 16MB 250GB from OCuk, and just installed it today.
Im using it as we speak on a fresh windows install, but every so often I am hearing a really horrid sound, sounds like metal scraping together, its only every so often and lasts about 1 second if that.
Is it a faulty one? I literally can't believe it if it is...!?
Will the Seagate tools pick it up if its a head fault or something?
