I know I need to do some cable management, but, meh!!! What I have done is lifted the case from the floor onto a small desk to give some more airflow around it.

I wanted to make sure my temps were ok.

All running stock- Idle Temps

Antec 900-2 Case

Gainward 4870 x 2 GS - 47 Deg C

P6T Deluxe Board running i7 920 2.66 - All cores between 27 and 30 Deg C

Noctua NH-U12P cooler, front fan blows, rear fan sucks.

FWIW 3 fans on front of case are on low, the ones on the back are set medium and the one on top set low.

Ermm, may sound stupid, whats the best way to test underload and be able to look at temps at the same time? I could run into the pink but how do you view what the temps are doing?

Im using realtemp for CPU and just the Catalyst Control Centre for video

Just resurrecting this. I put SETI o the PC as i thought that would be a good way of testing it. SETi after 60 mins see temps of 55-59 Deg C

This ok?

Hi, I have just finished my new build with a i920 in an ATCS 840 case, Asus P6T.

I have not got my Vista 64 yet so just ran up the bios and the temps are 37-38 for CPU and 45 for the mobo are these OK as the system is not even under load yet!!

Maybe I need to stick that additional cooler onthe back!

Will run Realtemp once I install Vista tomorrow!!

Temps look fine, idealy check once windows is installed and check at full load with Real Temp or Core Temp.
