Temp Check CPU

Hi All,

What's the best way to heat test a CPU? I've been playing battlefield and it's crashing after only letting me play one game and stating very helpfully.... "Something went wrong".

I want to test the temp of the CPU under load but not sure what to use as the bios options only show me what the temp is at idle (29 degrees).

Hey,

Welcome to the many problems of BF4 that a lot have experienced! But to monitor temps there are lots of programs, hwmonitor and real temp are a few :).
 
Download a programme called core temp from here http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

Then run a programme like prime95 or intel burn test (though I would probably avoid intel burn test if you already think your cpu is overheating as it feta CPUs very hot) to stress the cpu and watch the temps in core temp.
