Recently put together a system for my dad including a Pentium D 825, 2gb ram and an old x800xt.

now thing is i want to monitor the temp as i know P4's and P D's can get fairly hot, but nothing seems to work.

I Tried Intel TAT and it says its not a Intel processor, yet it is

I've tried Coretemp 0.95 which i thought had support for intel as people are using them for their C2D's but it says that its an Intel Processor and closes, least this realises that is a Intel

and lastly Speedfan gives me temps of -51, -1 and 14, unfortunately its not under phase so these temps are wrong, any ideas??

motherboard is a Gigabyte 945GZM-S2

there is a part of monitoring software in their eazytune software which is actually for overclock and doesnt actually work because everytime the computer is restarted or switched off it loses the clock and im not sure it applies it cos cpu-z shows thats its severly under what it says and system info under my computers properties show it as stock speeds, so i dont think it makes any difference, but anyway, yer even the monitoring part of eazytune shows the same iffy temps and what not.

might just be the motherboard m8, i member i cudnt get the temps on my old p4 cus i had a dodgy motherboard
