Temperature?

Other option to TIM remover is standard Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), available from any decent chemist. Get the highest grade/quality one you can. A 500ml bottle cost me around a fiver 4 or 5 year ago.
 
Thanks for the help people, I took all the old paste off, cleaned with Tim Clean, then put some Heat Sink Compound Plus (my mate had both luckily) then reseated the fan, I put it in properly, last time one the clamps wasn't in properly, is running sweet now :D

running mid 30's on idle :D
